Roasted Brussels Sprouts with Garlic & Salt
Brussels sprouts have a bad rep. For good reason. They usually taste horrible. But you have the power to make soggy, over-boiled sprouts a thing of the past, just by cooking them a little differently.
I’ve relied on sprout stir-fries for years, but these garlic and salt roasted brussels sprouts are my new favourite.
4 ingredients. Including the salt. It doesn’t get much better than that.
- Brussels sprouts (however many you have)
- Garlic oil
- Garlic cloves (however many you have)
Spread out the brussels sprouts on a baking tray, along with unpeeled garlic cloves. Season with salt and drizzle with garlic oil.
Roast for 20-25 minutes, or until brown and crispy.
The sprouts will be gooey on the inside, but crispy and salty on the outside. The garlic cloves will be soft and sweet inside the peel. Just cut the top off and squeeze out the garlic.
Eat as a side or as a snack! They’re so good. Trust me. Even long-standing sprout haters will love them.
